190 premium service numbers.

Premium service calling numbers start with 190 and and are operated by third party content providers. They are used as a way to bill for a range of premium calling services such as chat and dating lines, information lines, competitions and voting.

All calls to 190 premium services are excluded from your Vodafone plan and will appear as an extra charge on your bill. Premium service numbers will appear in the ‘International Talk’ section of your bill.

The amount you’re charged will be higher than the advertised rate as we add 18% plus GST. For example, if the advertised rate was $10, the charge on your bill will be $12.98 including GST.

You can block outgoing calls to premium service numbers on your plan by deactivating international calls through My Vodafone.

Please note, blocking outgoing calls to premium service numbers will also block outgoing international calls. This will also affect outgoing calls while on international roaming.

Prepaid customers can’t use their service to call 190 premium numbers.
