How to check coverage in your area

Use the Coverage Checker to see what the coverage should be like in your area. Enter the device you're using along with your address, and it'll be customised to show the coverage available to you.

NOTE: Just remember the coverage maps are an estimate of your coverage, and should only be used as a guide. Things such as building construction, local conditions, device, software, download source and network traffic may mean what you actually experience is different.

If you’ve got any questions about what you’re seeing on the coverage map, check out the FAQs below.

Coverage map FAQs

Why do I need to enter a device?

This will customise the maps to show the networks you're able to use. Not all phones, modems and tablets are compatible with every bit of our network. For example, you won’t get 4G coverage if you don’t have a 4G phone. By entering the device you've got, we can customise the maps to give you the best idea of what to expect.

If you just want to see our whole coverage footprint, enter a device that’s compatible with all of our networks (the Samsung Galaxy S4 for example).

How do I find out about network outages?

If there’s an outage at the location you’re checking, you should see it listed on the coverage map. If you’re experiencing network issues, check the Network Status Page too.

How do I find out about improvements?

In the 'Coming soon' section in the bottom left hand corner of the page, check the ‘Planned Improvements Within 3 months' box.

What does ‘Regional’ mean for the type of coverage?

Check out ‘Vodafone Network in Regional Areas’ for info.
