Earn Qantas Points with Vodafone

When you connect or upgrade with Vodafone, on selected plans you can earn Qantas Points with your Qantas Frequent Flyer or Qantas Business Rewards membership.

Note: Qantas Business Rewards has replaced the Aquire loyalty program, but this information still applies if your business plan included Aquire Points.

How do I earn points with Vodafone?

You’ll earn points when connecting or upgrading to an eligible 24 month plan. Eligible plans are MyMix Red Global, MyMix Red Business Global, and selected Business Flex Plans. Personal plans earn up to 15,000 Qantas Points and Business plans earn up to 15,000 Qantas Points for business when you connect or upgrade online:

Once your service is active, we’ll send you an email with instructions to claim your points. If you're ready to submit, you can do so on our website:

Note: If you sign up for a Business Flex plan in store or over the phone, we’ll submit your claim for Qantas Points for business for you. Just make sure that you have joined Qantas Business Rewards and have your ABN handy.

How long do I have to claim my points?

You must claim your Qantas Points within 60 days of connecting with us.

How long will it take for my points to be added to my account?

It will take up to 30 days for your points to be added to your Qantas Frequent Flyer or Qantas Business Rewards account. 

How many points will I receive when connecting to an eligible plan?

It’ll depend on the plan you’ve selected. Connecting or upgrading online will earn you double points as shown below:

  • The double points for online sign up offer isn’t available on Business Flex plans.

Can I switch from my current contract to the Qantas offer?

Yes. You can change your plan if you move to the same price point or higher. However, you are not eligible to receive Qantas Points by changing plan without a signing a new contract. When you’re next eligible to upgrade, you can select from any of the plans available to you at that time.

I’m not a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, how do I sign up?

Visit the Qantas website to join online.

If you’ve connected with a business account, you’ll need to join Qantas Business Rewards,

You have 60 days from the date you connect with us to provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer or Qantas Business Rewards membership details and claim your points.

How can I check my points have been added?

It’ll take up to 30 days for your points to be applied. We’ll send you an SMS to let you know when this is complete or you can log in to Qantas to confirm:

I received a message saying my claim was declined, why?

Your claim will be declined if:

  • Your Vodafone account isn’t yet active. We’ll send you an email once you’re up and running to claim your points
  • The details you’ve entered are incorrect. Resubmit your claim online with the correct details.
  • The name on your Vodafone account does not match the name on your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. You can resubmit your claim online with the correct details.
  • You’re connecting a business account and the ABN does not match the ABN for your Qantas Business Rewards account. You can resubmit your claim online with the correct details.
  • Your plan is not eligible for Qantas Points (this offer is only for customers who are connecting or upgrading to an eligible 24 month contract and selecting the Qantas plan)
  • You’ve already redeemed your points
  • You’ve signed up for a Business Flex Plan. On these plans, we’ll submit the claim for you. Just make sure that you have joined Qantas Business Rewards and have your ABN handy

Can I earn points if the Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is not in my name?

The Qantas Frequent Flyer account you’re claiming points against needs to be registered in the same name as your Vodafone account. If it’s not, your claim will be declined.
