If you signed up to a 24 month Red plan between 2 September 2016 and 15 August 2017 and have completed 12 months of your contract, you’re eligible for New Phone Every Year.

How do I take up New Phone Every Year?
If you’re eligible, visit your nearest Vodafone store, return your phone in good working order, choose your new phone and sign up on a new 24 month plan. A one-off fee of $149 will be applied to your next bill.

New Phone Every Year offer is automatically available on all 24 month Postpaid plans (excluding SIM Only plans) purchased with a Mobile Device from 02 September 2016 to 15 August 2017. After you’ve been on your plan for 12 months your original Mobile Device can be returned to Vodafone in Good Working Order to any Vodafone Store. Mobile Device will be assessed in-store, in accordance with Ingram Micro Pty Ltd’s (Ingram) valuation criteria, and if deemed to be in Good Working Order you will be required to pay a once-off fee of $149.00 (which will appear on your next bill), choose a new Mobile Device and sign up to a new, equal value or higher, Red plan. All remaining Early Exit Fees and outstanding Mobile Payments with original Mobile Device will be waived when you sign up to a new Red plan. If your phone is not in Good Working Order, and you still wish to upgrade through the New Phone Every Year offer, you may be able to have your original device repaired at your additional cost, which will vary depending on the degree of damage and model of your mobile device. At the time of your New Phone Every Year upgrade, you must return the same Mobile Device that you originally signed up to, unless it has been replaced under an insurance policy, under warranty or in accordance with your rights under Australian consumer law. The new monthly payments on your new plan may be greater depending on the Mobile Device and plan chosen. Not all plans and handsets offered by Vodafone will be eligible for this offer and there is no obligation to take up the New Phone Every Year offer. It is a condition of the New Phone Every Year offer that you return your Mobile Device (in good working condition) to Vodafone. When you return your phone, ownership in it will be signed over to Ingram. Vodafone Stores act as a device collection point on behalf of Ingram. If you wish to keep your Mobile Device, then you are not eligible for the New Phone Every Year offer. However, two other options that are available to you at any stage of your commitment period are: a) cancel your original plan (as well as your original Mobile Payment Plan, if any) and sign up to a new plan (and new Mobile Payment Plan, if applicable) (Note - Early Exit Fees (which are 50% of minimum monthly spend (including all monthly Mobile Payment Plan amounts, if any) x months remaining on contract) will apply in this circumstance); or b) continue with your original plan (and original Mobile Payment Plan, if applicable) and add an additional Mobile Payment Plan for the new Mobile Device to your account. Vodafone reserves the right to change the plans and handsets eligible for this offer at any time at its discretion.
