International roaming – while you’re overseas

With roaming enabled, your phone will automatically pick up service with networks overseas wherever they're available. We'll send you a Welcome TXT the moment you connect overseas, so that's a good indication you're up and running.

If you don't have roaming enabled, find out how to set it up first.

Managing roaming costs

If you're on $5 Roaming, your costs are going to be fairly predictable. For other plans, or in countries where $5 Roaming isn't available, we've got a page to help with keeping costs down while roaming. Don't forget you can check your usage at anytime, but keep in mind that the presentation of charges if you're monthly billed may be delayed by up to 72 hours.

If you're not planning on using data while you’re overseas, now would be a good time to double check you've disabled it.
