Using international calling cards from your mobile

International calling cards can be a good way to keep in touch, but be careful of the cost when using them with your mobile.

What it costs

The number you dial to use the card will usually be a '13...', '18...' or local number.  You should factor in the cost of the call on top of what you've paid for the card itself. Check your plan details for call rate information.

These calls may also be classed as re-routed calls, which are excluded from some plans. Find out more about re-routed calls.

Other options

You may find that calling overseas directly is cheaper for some countries, particularly if international calls are included in your plan. Check our international call rates.

If you need more international calling value than your current plan includes, check out our support page for options.
